Amazing hot chicken sandwich. Honestly the best I've had in the city. I'll keep ordering even when it's far!

I wasn't expecting much from a fried chicken restaurant, but I was honestly blown away! I got the French toast chicken and it was so good. The flavors were complex and we sat at the bar and got to see the cooks prepare it. The truffle fries were also delicious, we ate them so fast I forgot to take a photo.

I got the Korean Fried Chicken sandwich to go and it was so juicy and yummy. I ordered take out and the sandwich was ready in 10 minutes and the service I received was super nice and helpful. The sandwich itself travelled well! And the flavors of everything were so yummy. I was so impressed by how juicy the chicken was! I'd definitely come back!

5/5: TLDR - Perhaps on the pricier side depending on what you get, service was a bit of hit or miss and a bit small but when it comes to the food you can tell the craft is there! Ordered: - KSG Sandwich: 5/5 - The sandwich is a mess. Like in the way that you won't find a clean finger to use until you wash your hands. Do not recommend if this is a date or you're trying to impress someone but it was really delicious. I would've thought given the size of it it would've made me lethargic but it being made the way it was, it doesn't leave you heavy at all! A good choice - Biscuit: 3/5 - Was raved by the server. I thought it was a fine biscuit. Nothing to write home about. - Fries: 3/5 - Just...fries, also nothing to write home about. Service: 3.75/5 It was just fine. I think it was giving me the same kind of energy of someone who was new so they felt a little trepid? They never really checked in on us that much and our water wasn't refilled until it was well past empty even though at this point there aren't that many customers in the store. I'm only one to notice the lack of water because I am just a generally thirsty person. Ambiance: 4/5 Its a cute spot! It is small though so during busier times I'm sure you could expect a wait! It is an open kitchen as well and a bar next to it so if you get hot easily definitely don't sit at the bar. I would still recommend this place if someone was in the area!

Such a fun spot! In all honesty, I'm not a *huge* fan of fried chicken. I typically feel incredibly lethargic after eating large amounts of it as an entree. So I was a bit wary of coming here when my friends suggested it. But I ended up pleasantly surprised by the food! I think Chick Chick may have changed my mind about fried chicken. We ordered a grape soju cocktail and 2 half chickens: 1 with soy garlic sauce and 1 with sweet gochujang sauce. This was more than enough for three hungry people. Each piece was coated in a generous amount of sauce, and the skin somehow wasn't soggy--each bite had a delightful crunch to it. The gochujang wings were great and the soy garlic ones were just fantastic. Two of us ended up ordering small bowls of rice to eat with the chicken. I recommend eating the chicken with rice; it really elevates the dish. Super fun, cheap place to grab a bite with friends. We will definitely be back again!

Personal Rating: [4/5], Yelp Rating: [5/5] Food [4/5] Truffle Fried Rice [5/5] *The Truffle Fried Rice had amazing flavor with plenty of wok hei. KSG Sandwich [3/5] *While the chicken was wonderfully juicy, the sandwich was a painful mess to eat. The cole slaw and dill pickle were highlights of the dish. Truffle Parm Fries [4/5] *Abnormally crunchy and lacking in truffle flavor. Overall still satisfying. Service [5/5] No complaints Ambiance [4/5] Tables with stools have no hooks to hang jackets or bags. Bar seating has hooks underneath. Price [5/5] Very affordable, great portions

Top spot. Fav spot. The service was amazing. Everyone is so kind and casual. The atmosphere feels like a fun hip diner vibe. The menu is just a bomb. We wanted to order everything. 10/10 will come back. Here is what we boiled down to getting: - 1/2 chicken sweet black pepper soy - Sweet and spicy chicken bite ( has fried rice cakes- obsessed) - Biscuit (comes with sause but only 1 soft amazing biscuit) - Truffle parm fries ( cut to perfection with generous cheese) - Dirty truffle fried rice ( strong truffle and umami) - Upper west waffle sandwich (flat waffle with hint of vanilla but not sweet! It's so clever)
